I know of plenty of couples where one is more or less introverted than the other. But I know of only one actual, certified, still-going, true extrovert and true introvert couple. They are happy. But it took a few “meetings with god” to get there.
Such an interesting topic! My husband and I are an introvert-extrovert pairing. We sometimes struggle with differing social needs. Have put lots of effort into being sensitive to the other's needs. Who am I kidding, he indulges my needs to be social as often as he possibly can. I feel like the pandemic has really polarized these qualities. Thanks for the deep thoughts and personal sharing. Great article!
